Ananas Surf Tail Traction Pad

Surfboard, Wake, Skim, Kite, Foil board tail pad.

Brand new non-slip tail pad set, one 5 mm layer EVA, center line, and tail kick area double grooved for extra grip. No arch and a 25 mm vert wedge tail kick with beveled edges. Suitable for short surfboards, kite surfboards, foil boards, wake surfboards, and skimboards.

Tail pad: 310×332 mm

This tail pad is a part of our new full pad set specially designed for narrowed short surfboards used at City Wave, River and Pool surfboards, and Kite surfboards. If you want you can buy a full pads set size 1060×380 mm with 8mm gap between the pads. You can increase the distance between the mats according to your need.

New 3M™ Double Coated Tape 9786 with 3M™ Laminating Adhesive 300MP provides high adhesion to a wide variety of materials, including plastics and foams and has a thin nonwoven carrier for dimensional stability and improved handling.

The deck pads can have a fold mark after packaging, this is not considered a defect. The EVA foam usually are straightened out within a one-two day after gluing on the board.

Surf Traction Pad installation guide

This is a very simple procedure. Actually, you should be somewhat level headed when you put your Ananas Surf Traction Pad on. Removing a pad is a nightmare. They use some serious marine glue. So, measure twice and cut once.

To install a surf traction pad, you will need:

•A surf traction pad

•A clean surfboard

1.To install a surf traction pad, your surfboard must be completely free of sand, grime, wax and something other. Sometimes, the sticker fits perfectly, sometimes the sticker is cut in sections, but not all boards are sized equally so use your best judgment. You may have to trim it. Basically, you want it as large as the wax job you would slab on if you didn’t have a sticker.

2.Remember, that glue is serious. It will solidly adhere with harsh elemental abuse for easily a season or two. So, make sure you don’t confuse the front of your surfboard for the back. Oh, and sadly this must be mentioned, make sure you put the surf traction pad on the top of the surfboard and not the underside. Look at straps hole, leash place and central line stick the central part off pad. Between central and side parts of traction pad 8 mm, this like a pen or pencil and you can use that for measure. Look traction pad line design for right place and stick it. It`s little bit easy if you remove the protective tape gradually sticking the pad.

3.A surf traction pad is basically an eternal wax job that keeps your back foot from sliding off the board. Some surfers like the extra spongy spring they provide when you stomp them for tricks, while others loathe them when the thick foam catches a toe. It’s all up to you.
